B. Jeyamohan is a noted Tamil writer and literary critic from Nagercoil  in the south of Tamil Nadu.Jayamohan's novels, and in particular his style which is quite influenced by post-modernism, are considered by many Tamils to have changed the literary landscape of modern Tamil writing. His best-known, and critically most acclaimed, novel is Vishnupuram, set in an imaginary land and showing some elements of magic realism.
