Author Name: M.R. Yardi

M.R. Yardi was born in 1916. He graduated from the Ferguson College, Poona. He topped the list of successful candidates in the Indian Civil Services in1968.
He served as the Collector of Pune, Development Commissioner, Bombay and many more posts until he finally retired as Finance Secretary in 1974.
After retirement, he has been working as the Chairman, Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Pune.
