David Heller graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University and received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Michigan. He has written seven previous books, including several about children and child development. His books have been featured in a variety of book clubs and translated into numerous foreign languages.

Dr. Heller continues to explore how children percieve the world through his research and writing. He lives iin Boston with his wife, Elizabeth.
