Prof R. Parthasarathy graduated in Physics from St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirapalli. He obtained his engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and his Ph. D in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the University of Roorkee.
He has served as a faculty member of Electrical engineering departments in premier technical universities in the country like the University of Roorkee, College of Engineering, Madras and IIT Madras. He has successfully interacted with the media and contributed over 200 articles in The Hindu in the field of science and technology.
