Author Name: Jonathan Stroud

Jonathan Stroud was born in Bedford, England in 1970. From a worryingly early age he spent most of his time scribbling stories, drawing comics, making board-games and otherwise ruining perfectly nice blank paper. He published his first book in 1993, and for several years worked as an editor while writing in his spare time. At the end of 2001 he became a full-time writer. He lives in England with his family.
